Calling all impacts and adaptation experts! The US Government is asking for review comments on Working Group II’s draft contribution to the IPCC 6th Assessment Report. Comments submitted to the USG by 11:59 PM ET this Friday January 8 through a Review and Comment System will be considered for inclusion in the USG comments submitted to IPCC by the Department of State.
The USG’s comments typically receive very serious consideration in the IPCC process. But experts can instead choose to submit comments directly to IPCC You need to register by January 22 (this process establishes you as an expert in the chapters you wish to comment on) and submit your comments before 11:59 PM CET on January 29. Please choose one or the other process — not both!
